Seems typical of Krauthammer — something great is happening in Iraq, and he specifically downplays it and wants to direct our attention somwhere, anywhere else.
John – I think anything and everything should be done to prevent them from getting nuclear weapons. Ironically, Bush may have traded Iraq for Iran when the latter is a greater danger.
Thom – I think that was true of other journalists (like Lehrer in his interview of Bush yesterday), but I think CK is on the right side of this one.
Todd –
No question that Iran seems to be the biggest threat in the region, now that Saddam is out of power.
Ironically, Iraq’s new experience with democracy could be part of the solution to Iran.
