Some of you may have figured out that I am traveling to various top-secret locations during the latter half of June. I’m spending two weeks going to biblical sites none of which I have been to before. It is an amazing trip.
Bet you can’t guess where these photos was taken.
And lest you think that this is all I’ve been doing, take a closer look at the tan lines. (On second thought, spare yourself!)
(No, this is not Greece and it’s not the Bahamas!)
Patmos or Crete?
Cyprus
Any more guesses?
Malta?
Something tells me Tyre or Sidon … in Lebanon. But, not with ahem … certain types of stamps in your passport.
I’m happy. My new passport is clean and I’m not dealing with the stigma of Hebrew stamps now. So, where should I go?
Not Patmos, Crete, Cyprus, Malta, or Lebanon. I did go to Patmos on this trip, but none of the other sites. Except Lebanon, I’ve been to the others on previous trips.
You’re running out of biblical places with beaches…
Is that Fabio on the beach?
I think we’re also running out of biblical places that we’d dare to imagine you haven’t been to.
Southern Albania
The answer: southern Turkey, between Patara and Myra. Which means that Paul sailed by here at least twice. Turkey has some beautiful beaches.
Lucky…=)
If “Paul sailed by here” makes a beach a biblical site, you could line up some pretty sweet itineraries for your BiblePlaces photoshoots.
I wouldn’t have imagined Turkey having beaches like that. Suffering, indeed.
I think Gunner is on to my strategy…
