I don’t know these people or this situation personally, but it strikes me as a fair presentation of the on-going persecution of believers in Arad. This 15-minute video was made by a messianic believer in the 12th grade.
Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matt 5:11-12)
Would you please parse that Greek for me?
P.S. over at the Moor I advertise a new movie coming out on the 1948 war (“O Jerusalem”). It looks like it will be interesting – though a bit lovey-dovey.
The video puts things a bit into perspective. Here many of our churches are dying from a dearth of God’s Word but the world finds little to persecute b/c the truth is so muddled. Persecution helps to clear away the muddle as the video shows. The message of Christ and His salvation stands in stark contrast to the world’s lies. It deeply convicts all who despise Christ and they furiously lash out at those who speak His truth.
But He will return soon to bring His righteous judgment. Come quickly, Yeshua!
