We’re already into the next semester, but I’m still catching up. They say that you never stop learning, and last semester was proof of that for me. Here are a few things that I learned:
- Don’t forget your swimsuit on the Negev trip.
- Not everyone is as fanatical about tells as I am.
- You can’t judge a person by his questions.
- Everyone likes you if you extend the research paper deadline.
- Soccer is fun, especially with a little Frenchman.
- I apparently look like a turtle.
- You can eat 2 Magnums and drink a Diet Coke a few times a day and not get fat.
- If anyone ever asks you to drive in Naples, offer to cut off your right hand instead. If they ask you to find a parking space, cut off the other one.
- A bad start to a relationship doesn’t mean a bad end
- It’s not a good idea to wonder aloud what it would be like to be called “Todd the Magnificent.”

Todd, you are really making me miss Israel. It was such a great semester. Fun times of learning, growing, building friendships and loving God. AMEN to #9, God is good.

Off point – Todd, you may already know this info but I talked to Dr. Merrill today and he said he is updating “Kingdom of Priests” but it will probably be about 2 years in the making.
todd, those shorts are nice, but not as nice as those sweet Nike bike shorts you wore on our trip around the Sea of Galilee. Thanks for the reminder that learning never stops
although I liked the tells, somehow, I can’t believe it took you until last semester to know not everyone is excited about them as you are. :)
Rhea – I could have worded that one better. My point was that no one had ever been quite so honest about it before :-).
You might have had a good time with the “little frenchman,” but we are glad to have him back! Thanks for taking such good care of “my” internationals.
