Reminds me of our dig at Aphek. On Friday afternoon, at the end of a hot and dirty week, we could skip the unheated showers and hike over to the Baptist Mission to use their pool.
In all the years I’ve lived in Israel, I don’t know if I’ve been in a swimming pool once. Well, maybe there was a hotel in Eilat about 13 years ago. I have swam in a lot of famous bodies of water though!
Do they still have the poll at the Kibbutz next to Yad Ha? Never went over to it. Like you, I was relegated to some famous bodies of water (Red, Dead, Med, and The Lake).
Where is the pool? They didn’t put one in at Yad Ha did they?
