February 3

Dallas Seminary is in the news.  Unfortunately it’s because the VP of Finance embezzled $165,000.  If you watch the video, you ‘ll feel sorry for the wife who declares his innocence because “I know my husband.”

So who should you vote for in the upcoming election in Israel?  This site reveals your political position based upon your answers to questions.

Sovereign Grace Music is having a real cheap music and book sale through February 28.

John MacArthur answered a lot of personal questions in a recent Q&A celebrating his 40 years of ministry at Grace Community Church.

I really doubt that all of these are women drivers.

I appreciated the MacArthur Q&A and found the political survery to confirm my candidate of choice. I wish I could vote. I have been meaning to ask what music you have been listening to lately. Other than Sovereign Grace/PDI, what do youl like?

I liked the electoral compass. I would have thought I was more of a Likud guy but it says I’m closer to Kadima.

The fun part was learning more about some of the parties that don’t get as much press. Hadn’t heard of more than a few of them!

Scott – I can’t stop you from confessing here, but be aware that all may not be inclined to forgive!

Jeff – I don’t have as much time to listen to music lately. In the car I typically listen to the Bible, sometimes sermons, and also (dare I say?) the country station. When I have less mental work at home, I have lately enjoyed Wayne Watson (Even This), Enfield (O For That Day), Rush of Fools, and Chris Tomlin. I never really liked Steven Curtis Chapman before, but since the death of his daughter, I’ve listened to and liked This Moment. As you can tell, I’m not all that up on the latest. Anyone who wants to make a suggestion for me may do so. I do like the hymns album by Sovereign Grace, Together for the Gospel – lots of strong male voices singing some great songs.

Oh, those women drivers were too much! I was laughing and “ooo”-ing and “oh, no”-ing the whole time. I really couldn’t believe that woman trying to park on the street and she took almost 4 mins and still couldn’t do it. I’m suprised that the man, who finally parked the car waited four minutes before making her get out. And I just love that he did it in one move! Ha,ha,ha,ha! That just cracks me up. Such a man…couldn’t stand that this woman was not only being a horrid driver, but was wasting every one’s time. So, what does he do…do it himself! So funny!
