{"id":1063,"date":"2010-05-13T21:20:16","date_gmt":"2010-05-14T02:20:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/2010\/05\/13\/may-13\/"},"modified":"2010-05-13T21:20:16","modified_gmt":"2010-05-14T02:20:16","slug":"may-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/blog\/2010\/05\/13\/may-13\/","title":{"rendered":"May 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flixxy.com\/amazing-fire-illusion.htm\">amazing fire illusion<\/a> (1 min). <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve really enjoyed the latest CD by Sovereign Grace, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/sovereigngracemusic.org\/albums\/category\/sovereign_grace_music\/sons_daughters\">Sons and Daughters<\/a><\/em>.&#160; Someone took the song &#8220;The Prodigal&#8221; and animated it in a powerful way (3 min).&#160; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worshipmatters.com\/2010\/05\/06\/the-prodigal\/\">It&#8217;s worth watching!<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thegospelcoalition.org\/blogs\/tgc\/2010\/04\/21\/jesus-never-read-the-new-testament\/\">Jesus never read the New Testament.<\/a>&#160; Some good thoughts in this brief blog post.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I realized that the ESV text was updated in 2007.&#160; This may have been done more intentionally &#8220;under the radar&#8221; (I don&#8217;t know for sure though).&#160; But if you &#8216;re interested in this kind of thing, you can see a list of the changes <a href=\"http:\/\/homepage.mac.com\/rmansfield\/thislamp\/files\/20070621_2007_esv_genesis_deuteronomy.html\">here<\/a> (unofficial, as the ESV Committee refused to produce a list).&#160; The HCSB was <a href=\"http:\/\/thislamp.com\/?p=519\">updated<\/a> recently, and of course the NIV is getting a major overhaul next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is an amazing fire illusion (1 min).
