{"id":1065,"date":"2010-05-17T21:46:26","date_gmt":"2010-05-18T02:46:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/2010\/05\/17\/marketing-bible-study\/"},"modified":"2010-05-17T21:46:26","modified_gmt":"2010-05-18T02:46:26","slug":"marketing-bible-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/blog\/2010\/05\/17\/marketing-bible-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Marketing Bible Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Does it strike anybody else as strange that all of the covers of the <em>Bible Study Magazine<\/em> (produced by Logos) have head shots of &#8220;famous&#8221; Christians?&#160; This particularly struck me when looking at their ad on the last page of this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bibleplaces.com\/NovDec09Manger.pdf\">pdf file<\/a>.&#160; But it&#8217;s no accident: the first item listed in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblestudymagazine.com\/\">sales pitch<\/a> is &#8220;Feature Stories,&#8221; which is described this way:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Great interviews and articles with the biggest names in the church and biblical scholarship, including: Josh McDowell, John Piper, Kay Arthur, Mark Driscoll, Randy Alcorn, Mark Goodacre, Daniel Wallace, Lee Strobel, N.T.
