I can&#8217;t say that I &#8220;learned&#8221; anything, but it was thought-provoking in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n<p>The ESV has quietly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esv.org\/resources\/faq\/#esv-2011-changes\">made changes<\/a> to more than 275 verses in the text. That&#8217;s a good start.<\/p>\n<p>I am a fan of the traditional model of education and not much of a fan of distance &#8220;education.&#8221; I tend to suspect that the schools want money and the students want it easier. That makes it a &#8220;win-win.&#8221; DTS professor Jeffrey Bingham gives a thoughtful explanation for why education is best done <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patheos.com\/Resources\/Additional-Resources\/Evangelical-Theological-Education-at-the-Crossroads-D-Jeffrey-Bingham-11-03-2011?offset=1&amp;max=1\">in person<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I wish I could write a full post in response to &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/donteatthefruit.com\/2011\/09\/why-you-and-i-could-not-write-the-book-of-revelation\/\">Why You and I Could Not Write the Book of Revelation<\/a>.&#8221; There are some good thoughts here but I&#8217;d like to say more.<\/p>\n<p>I mentioned <a href=\"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/blog\/2011\/09\/07\/2012-holy-land-calendar\/\">one 2012 Holy Land calendar before<\/a>, but there&#8217;s now another Lands of the Bible calendar available in some retail stores (e.g., Hobby Lobby), as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1608973859\/713713713-20\">Amazon<\/a> ($11). I really like it.
