{"id":2407,"date":"2019-04-02T22:17:18","date_gmt":"2019-04-03T05:17:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/blog\/?p=2407"},"modified":"2019-04-03T07:49:52","modified_gmt":"2019-04-03T14:49:52","slug":"california-poppy-super-bloom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toddbolen.com\/blog\/2019\/04\/02\/california-poppy-super-bloom\/","title":{"rendered":"California Poppy &ldquo;Super Bloom&rdquo;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The kids are on Spring Break this week, so I took the morning off and we drove up to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parks.ca.gov\/?page_id=627\">Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve<\/a>, which is now experiencing a &#8220;super bloom&#8221; following the heavy winter rains.<\/p>\n<p>The beauty is stunning, and it never got old as we walked one of the loop trails. In a few weeks, many of these flowers will be dead, and this summer you &#8216;ll think this is a desert (it is!).
