I don&#8217;t have permission to quote him, so I will summarize:  Attitudes in Lebanon are much more polarized than before, but the issues which precipitated the war have not been resolved.  Now me: The first part means that more people in Lebanon hate Israel more than ever before.  The second part means that there will be another war.  To say it another way, those who demanded an immediate ceasefire will get a &#8220;short-term peace,&#8221; the cost of which will be greater than the recent war.
