I’ve been back in Israel four days now. It’s been a bit rough. In fact, I’d say that if this was my only time to Israel, I’d tell people to never come. Of course, I have the experience to know that it is not always this way. <\/p>\n
Before I left, we had reason to believe that things might be tough at home with one of our kids. We have not been disappointed. I didn’t realize that they built schools with padded rooms. A further complication is that Kelli fell and broke her ankle this week. This is an inconvenient time for her to suffer her first broken bone. The break is painful and it makes it much harder to deal with the kids. We would appreciate your prayers.<\/p>\n
The group that I am teaching is extremely kind, helpful, and excited, and that is a blessing.<\/p>\n
UPDATE: Kelli needs surgery. That is scheduled for Tues am. Then she has to be off the foot for 8-10 weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
