How do you “do everything for the glory of God”?  You may have memorized this verse at one point:<\/p>\n

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In the context of this passage, this is not an abstract idea.  It is not a feeling in your heart or a strong desire, “O God, I want this to be for you.  Please help me to glorify you.”  <\/p>\n

Read this verse in the context (1 Cor 10:23-11:1) and you’ll see that “doing all for the glory of God” means to “seek the good of others” above your own good.  When you seek the good of others, you glorify God.  (Note esp. verses 24, 33.)<\/p>\n
