Do you not know? He sits enthroned a<\/strong>bove the circle of the earth, He brings pri<\/strong>nces to naught No sooner a<\/strong>re they planted, When God said this, Sennacherib and the Assyrians were ruling the world. Then it was Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians. Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you fr<\/strong>om the beginning?
Have you not understood since the e<\/strong>arth was founded? <\/em><\/p>\n
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spread<\/strong>s them out like a tent to live in. <\/em><\/p>\n
and reduces<\/strong> the rulers of this world to nothing. <\/p>\n
no sooner are they sown,
no sooner do they take root i<\/strong>n the ground,
tha<\/strong>n he blows on them and they wither,
and a whirlwind sweeps them away like ch<\/strong>aff. <\/em><\/p>\n
