Today makes 18 years. Several recent events make it more precious than it may have been otherwise. Perhaps more on those things another time, but this is all the blogging I’m going to do today.
The place where we were engaged, Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee
Karina and I were just in Tenessee, in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park! I’m not sure where you guys were engaged, but were you ever near Gaitlinburg or Pigeon Forge, TN? All I have to say is those are the strangest places I’ve ever visited in all of my travels in the US or the World!
Yes, we were near both of those places. At the time, Kelli’s parents lived in Sevierville. I can’t say that those places struck me as strange, but I wasn’t there as a tourist (though we did go to Dollywood!).
Congrats! I miss you guys.
Congratulations!! Praise the LORD for His faithfulness to you both.
A bit late, but congratulations to you both.
Praise the Lord for 18 years of faithful marriage Todd! God bless you and your wife!
Hmmm, I guess I meant “strange” as in, it is a mix of Vegas meets Disneyland meets a county fair meets a vagabond carnival group meets Universal Studios.
However, the Smokey Mountain National Park was a lovely and peaceful side trip away from all of that craziness. :)
