I’ve had a few requests for my Sunday School lessons as I teach through Isaiah chapter by chapter. This week I start the well-known chapter 53 (technically, it begins in 52:13). I have not decided to discontinue my Isaiah series on the blog, though it has been many months since I posted. I’d really like to be able to get back to it soon.
Oswalt’s commentary is tremendous. I enjoyed it thoroughly when working on my thesis.
Oswalt also did the NIV commentary on Isaiah that is less technical and withing the range of a serious layman.
Al – yes, Oswalt’s volume in the NIV Application Commentary series is also good and recommended.
