According to the Bible, saving faith is:

A. Having believed in Jesus at some point in your life

B. Always knowing that God is real and Jesus is his Son and that he died on the cross for you

C. Primarily demonstrated by doing good works and being a good person

D. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy (1 Peter 1:8)

If you have to qualify the answer, it’s probably not the right one. And most students don’t get points for making up their own answer on a multiple-choice question.

Let’s see… assuming these are not meant to be “qualified”…

    A. James 2:19… even demons believe.
    B. James 2:19 works with this too… just because I “know” it doesn’t mean I have received it personally (John 1:12)
    C. James 2:20 could apply here but none of us are “good” (Rom 3:12).
    D. I am going with this one!

    Yes… Joy inexpressible!
